Aeroflot created a new freighter hub in Hahn Germany in 2003 after acquiring 4 DC10F’s. At the same time direct freighter services linking the UK & Tokyo were cancelled and passenger flights between the UK and Moscow increased.
The challenge for Aeroflot and Select was to expand the UK customer base for UK flight departures and generate traffic for the cargo flights ex Hahn. Another key objective is to ensure Aeroflot becomes the carrier of choice for air cargo to Russia.

Aeroflot have broadened their client base by 20% and secured an additional 40 tons of cargo per month on UK line-haul flights with an additional 45 tons being trucked to Hahn. Aeroflot are the carrier of choice for air cargo to Russia. Aeroflot upgraded its DC10F'S to MD11F'S in 2007.
Aeroflot have recently decided to consolidate their suppliers and have made Select their only UK Sales Agent.
